Partner Training
We welcome you to train semi-privately with a friend or small group. The rates are full price for the first person, and each additional person at half price. Training in a group adds motivation and fun!
Coaching
For athletes who like to work on their own, but could use a little guidance from a trainer! Trainers will create a workout plan designed for your level and goals, and change it over time as you progress.
Monthly coaching $90 for members, $100 for guests
BODY COMPOSITION ANALYSIS
Measuring your body’s lean mass and fat mass, an analysis of your body composition offers important information that will help set goals and track progress. Body Composition Analysis is complimentary when purchasing six or more sessions of private training.

Cardiovascular and Strength Classes
MOUNTAIN DIVAS
This class is created especially for women! Understand the benefits of training in an outdoor setting and become more familiar with important outdoor training exercises such as hill running, power hiking, and agility drills. Develop strength and balance skills using the natural environment such as rocks, trees, and hills. Class uses trail running shoes or snowshoes and is coached by Ellen Miller, who has twice summited Mt. Everest!
total Strength
This class is a balanced workout focusing on a fusion of core, strength, and flexibility. Steps, Bosu balls, free weights, bands, slides, and more will be utilized throughout the class.
SilverSneakers®
SilverSneakers® fitness program is the nation’s leading exercise program designed exclusively for older adults! This is a very low impact class that is designed to increase strength, range of movement, agility, balance, and coordination. As a group, participants will improve functional capacities, physical fitness level, and sense of well-being.
Golden Snowshoers
A gentle cardiovascular outdoor fitness class for older adults (50 years plus). Also includes coffee social time post-workout! Bring your snowshoes (or VAC can provide) and meet at the VAC front desk.
Running Group
Join us for a group outdoor run! All levels are welcome. Complimentary for both members and guests, so please bring your friends! Group will run rain or shine.
Hip Hop
Class is designed to teach a choreographed dance routine that is fun and easy to learn . . . all while sweating your butt off! No dance experience is required, but a comfy pair of shoes and the willingness to sweat definitely is.
Track Workout
Meet the group at Battle Mountain High School track for a great workout! Whether training for distance or sprints, the track is an invaluable tool for interval work, plyometrics, gait analysis, and field tests. All levels are welcome. Complimentary for both members and guests, so please bring your friends! Group will run rain or shine.
Functional Training
A quick and dirty fitness experience! Functional training, the buzz of the industry, includes powerful and dynamic body movements to prepare you for performance in your sports, and performance in your life. This 30 minute class packs an intense workout with always-changing exercises including kettlebells, medicine balls, bodyweight, Olympic lifts, plyometrics, and more. Come join this high-energy, performance-based class!
Spin
Spin class will take you through all the fundamentals of a solid biking program, plus give you a great, well-rounded cardio workout all in one hour. Our certified spinning instructors will "guide" you through a series of hills, jumps, sprints, and flats—all with great music to keep you going! Classes will emphasize using your heart rate as a tool for performance. All levels are welcome, as everyone can enjoy the same spin workout at their own pace! Water bottles, heart rate monitors, and proper bike attire are recommended.
